Clarkin's right, there just wasn't alot for the ogres to do this game, handicaps accounted for.

It was unfortunate an unknown disconnection problem prevented what was another likely turn 16 saurus score, but it was just too much of a hassle to recreate.

Honestly I didn't play great, messing up my positioning a few times during the game; guess it goes to show how effective 11 players are against 5 :p

I turn 16 fouled with my dp for the bonus to fan factor, it was nothing personal to my opponent, in fact as I told him in game I wouldn't have done if he hadn't had his apo handy (which he did and saved a second ogre from being MNG'ed) and I was careful to pick the least skilled one...just thought I'd put it out there.

As much as I usually cannot stand playing ogres (never get my head round them...) I'm also looking forward to the rematch, when the matchup isn't as rough.

#7 Artemis – Broken Ribs (MNG)
We're up against Aflo's lizardmen but the game is over before it even starts. We only have 8 ogres + a gobbo, and they get three handicaps and they literally couldn't be worse. It wasn't me removes an ogre, and morley's strikes three other ogres, plus they get buzzing for a saurus. From 9 players down to 5-8 already, this is not going to be pretty.

We kick off and our enraged fans get the ref, not that we'll be doing any fouling as they have a DP we'd rather the ref kept an eye on. T1 and the DP MNG's our MA7 ogre, who at least was morley'd, and they then go on to score with a saurus on T4 without the slightest problem.

We set up 6 players vs their 11 to receive the kick, but within two turns (helped by a treble skull followed by a double skull) they have knocked the ball free and KO'd an ogre, though somehow with 5 players we're able to stop them scoring again.

We set up 6 vs 11 again for the 2nd half, and by T1 they are able to max range blitz our gobbo with the ball and then steal it the turn after. We KILL their DP skink (apo saves) and KO a couple other players but cannot actually threaten the ball.

At this stage all we have left on the pitch is 5 ogres and they hand off the ball to a saurus to make it 2-0.

Neither of our 2 KOs wake up + 1 morley's, so we have just 4 ogres vs 10 of them, and despite picking up the ball at one point it's ludicrous to hope for anything and they easily knock them all over before crowding round for a T16 DP foul, how friendly. They MNG an ogre and we save with the apo.
