“Red Flow received the ball, immediately trying to set up a throwing cage around our QB Barry (in disguise). Sending the WR Dawn French downfield, we started smashing them about, taking two KOs but causing two KOs and one set of broken ribs in the process. We also managed to down their ogre.

With a lot of support for the thrower, Dawn French was well open downfield and the pass completed - Dawn stopping at the one yard line to taunt the opposition and allow a good foul which caused the aforementioned broken ribs. Not very sporting though. One the next turn, Dawn ran it in. 1-0 Red Flow.

Arab Straps set up agressively on the line, putting their Ogre, blitzers and as many linemen that would fit right in contact with the flow's lineman. However, they left Red Flow's four blitzers completely uncovered down the wings. With a kickoff bouncing only four squares away from the blitzers, could this prove costly?

With Demonax the lineman knocking himself out, and the ball not claimed, Red Flow's blitzers rushed fowards.

Ringer scooped it up after a re-roll, but on turn 7 of the half it looked rather like she'd get flattened or just run out of time to get it in. Dodging past Thales, the Straps QB, she trips and drops the ball anyway. The half ends with Thales on the break, but not even over his halfway line.

The second half started well, with a pitch invasion stunning two players on each side. The Red Flow kicked and weren't so lucky with the bounce this time allowing blitzer Onasander to grab the ball deep in the Arabs' lines. Left unmolested again, the Flow's blitzers charged forwards, but a lineman managed to knock himself out as he bounced off Thug the ogre. Sensibly Onasander of the Arabs handed the ball off to his QB, and the impressive lineplay of the Arabs threatened to open up some gaps for a move. The Red Flow closed in, creating some great blocks and setting up a channel to the Arab's QB, but Thales managed to whistle the ball out to the wing to an open receiver! Philo had a clear run to the end zone - with only the Flow QB to possibly stop him! Could Barry (in disguise) manage to stop him? YES! YES HE COULD! Barry hurls Philo into the crowd and the ball is thrown back into play landing very close to WR Dave Ragwood of the Flow! Amazing scenes!

Flow on the attack now, but with their whole team deep in the enemy half, can they do anything with it? Ragwood grabs it and turns upfield, but has very little support. Dave heads up, handing the ball off to QB Barry (in disguise), who has already been a hero. Some decent blocking leaves only four Arabs standing - but they manage to smash Ringer's collarbone in revenge. Ouch! -1 ST! The Flow break to the right side of the pitch, with a WR, blitzer and QB working together. It's turn 5 now - can the Arabs use their turn 6 to turn the ball over? This is pretty much their last chance to salvage this game! AND DEMONAX KILLS HIMSELF! OH GOD! TRYING TO DODGE PAST A LINEMAN AND HIS HEAD PRETTY MUCH COMES STRAIGHT OFF! CARNAGE!

Arabs turn seven, but they're in a position to cause some hurt. With a win impossible, a draw could happen - and it would be the most dramatic draw in history. Players begin to move to set up for a tackle on the ball carrier, Barry (in disguise). Ragwood heads to the endzone, Barry steps up.. but INTERCEPTED by Arabs QB Thales! It's Arabs turn 8, but surely it's too late for them to do anything now?! The game ends with both teams smashing each other - but final score is Red Flow 1 - Arab Straps 0 ”
