Bulgary Stars began the game and were quickly put under pressure from Fulham. The Khemri resorted to hoofing the ball up field, but each time Fulham collected the ball either the final pass, or the finishing was lacking, leaving the half time score at 0-0.

The second half saw Fulham put together a tidy attack and, although Bulgary did what they could to stop them, they were running out of players. Fulham scored late in the half for 1-0, which would be the only score of the game.
