#8 Temple – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#9 Eynsham – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#9 Eynsham – Smashed Hip (-MA)
With such a powerful opponent (guard and tackle everywhere I looked) I felt I had to exploit the initial opening for an Early TD attempt -my GRs were never going to last the game. I'm sure all WIL coaches will agree that it's a shame about the troll regenerating ;)

Having had the good fortune to get my paws on the ball I missed a golden opportunity to throw it up-field into empty space in T6 which might well have given me the draw (or even a win if he was pressing for a win of his own in the second half).

The second half saw my player numbers steadily dwindling (don't think I could have done anything about that) so I made lots of desperation plays on defence which ultimately weren't enough to save the game.

Cowley spend a lot of the game on the floor despite buzzing but much of that he was tieing up three opponents by himself so I don't really feel he let me down.

Ultimately I was expefcting to lose with a >60 TR/TS disadvantage but at least I made him work for it :)
