“Another wild and crazy, crazy game for the Refugees. Even for facing a lot of AV 7, the casualties this team racked up was insane, and included a mummy, a ghoul, and a wight. Believe it or not, only one foul in the whole game (on the mummy).

Nuffle was all over the place here, frequently smiling on the boys from Riversmet, but the game ended as absurdly as it lived — with rookie Riversmet Catcher Jessup Hygrenne face-planting into the turf trying a GFI touchdown on the Refugees' final turn while La Grande Danse Macabre had all of five players on the pitch.

Props to Sadistik for taking the insanity in stride (although only one SI casualty, and on a skeleton at that, surely helped), and to our unknown [to me] spectator who kept the game filled with the cheers and jeers, ensuring the mood stayed light and fun throughout the madness.”
