“The second game of the White Isle season saw the Miners face off against Bill's Rickson By Armbar.
The Orcs started the game quickly wading into the Dwarves, as the game became a Melee. The Orcs soon broke down the flank, injuring a Slayer as they went, but the apothecary was on hand to keep the slayer in the game, who promptly jumped up and crowded the Orc's ball carrier. At this point the Orcs were losing players and struggling to down the Dwarves, allowing Gorf Wolfracer to collect the ball and eventually score for 1-0.
The second half saw the Miners outnumber their opponent 11 to 9, so it was no surprise that the Orcs struggled to contain the Dwarves. The Dwarves eventually broke through and stalled for the win, although a failed pass attempt to skill a player, followed by a failed pickup meant the game remained at 1-0.
Thanks for the game Bill, best of luck for the rest of the season.”
