“Handicaps Against Me: Extra Training

Broken Tooth Marauders won the coin toss and chose to receive. Lathander kicked the ball deep into Orc territory. An Orc Blitzer came and scooped the ball up but he was immediately taken down by a Safety Blitz spearheaded by Aravan. Unfortunately for Deadliest Catch, the ball bounced right into Vorgruth Tuskoth's hands. The Orcs managed to survive the scare and cage the ball at midfield. DC played a nice stalling defense that bogged down the cage with the dirty player, Ranfal, picking off the strays. A Troll and a Black Orc became the first two victims of the sneaky player. Time continued to tick off the clock and soon BTM had to make a move. This left their ball carrier open and it was knocked loose and the ball bounced right into Amaranth's hands. Vorgruth was angry and knocked the High Elf Blitzer to the ground causing another fumble. The ball took a favorable bounce for the Orcs and a nice short pass by Dorkruk to Brugrod came away with a touchdown just as time ran out in the first half.

DC received in the second half but the Orcs came out with a Blitz! Khilial dropped deep into his own end zone and waited for his team to get open. Elbereth blew a hole down the left side of the Orc defense while Ranfal stomped a fallen Orc Blitzer into the mud. Like a jail break, the High Elves flooded the Orc backfield.

BTM was not to be deterred and sent a Blitzer in to put pressure on the High Elf QB. Khilial rolled away and threw an accurate pass to Thranduil. The High Elf Lineman ran towards the end zone but just as he was about to step in for a touchdown he was called back by his Coach, the Wishmaster. The signal was to stall out the game and go for the tie to the dissatisfaction of the fans. Where was the killer instinct normally shown by Coach Knyte's teams?

On the last seconds of the clock, Thranduil was finally given the go ahead and he scored the game tying touchdown.
