“Dwarven Honor won the coin toss and chose to receive. Snorri Nosebiter badly hurt a Saurus from Creeping Gigios during the opening blocks evening out the field to a 10 vs 10. Gaven would pick up the ball but the Kroxigor began to chase him in the backfield. A close dodge away and he managed to get to midfield where he would be taken down. Dwarves swarmed the ball and prevented the Skinks from retrieving it ending the first half scoreless.

CG received in the second half and Gilius sacked the Skink ballcarrier in the backfield. One of the other remaining Skinks recovered the ball however, and ran up the right side of the field. Snorri charged him and knocked him down but the ball flew out of bounds and all the way back into Lizardmen territory. It was not a bad bounce for CG as the other Skink was nearby to scoop it up. The Skink, Souris, would speed up the left side of the field and into the end zone leaving the Dwarves in the dust.

Only two turns remained in the game and it was desperation time for the Dwarves. Both Runners ran up opposite sides of the field to get open for a pass. Once again the Kroxigor rushed the Dwarven Quarterback, Tyrion, and put him under tremendous pressure. His teammates would push the giant away and Tyrion scrambled down the middle of the field. Gaven and Gilius who were options one and two were covered but option number three, Thorn, the Blitzer was in range. He was in two tackle zones but a Longbeard shoved the strongest Saurus on the field to the ground while Snorri pushed the other off of his teammate. The two Dwarven Blitzers connected on a short pass and Thorn went for it twice for the game tying touchdown to avoid the loss!
