“Skinks, Saurusses and a Krox won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their two agile Skinks connect for a lightning quick touchdown early in the first half before Grand Design knew what happened. GD received the ball and they sent their Catchers out both sides of the field. The Lizardmen tried to cover them as best they could. With the help of the pouring rain it looked like they were going to be able to halt the High Elven passing game as the ball was fumbled during a hand off. SSaaK could not capitalize on the opportunity and Laranis recovered the ball for the touchdown just as time ran out in the first half.

GD received in the second half and the downpour continued. Once again they spread the field flooding the Lizardmen territory with receivers. Thranduil went back to retrieve the ball but it slipped from his hands. The strong Saurus, Stripe the Spotted, knocked a Linelf to the ground and got into the face of Thranduil. Two of SSaaK's most agile Skinks rushed towards the ball.

All of a sudden GD was on the defensive. Unfortunately, they had committed a little too much to offense. The Wishmaster waved his team back to try and save the touchdown but it was little help as the ball was freed up. All Stip the Sleepy had to do was pick up the ball and run it in. Unfortunately, Mother Nature doesn't discriminate and the rain struck the normally sure handed Skink. He fumbled the ball and it gave the High Elves time to stun him and recover the ball. Kensai rushed up the left side of the field then ran diagonally into the end zone to put his team up by one.

SSaaK recieved for the last time and GD responded with a Blitz! They weren't able to do much damage as Aravan fell over before he could get in range of the ball. Coach YuriSloerie gave Stip another chance and had him recover the ball. Stip ran behind his offensive line but the Kroxigor, Krunch, suddenly boneheaded for the first time all game. It was a costly mistake by the Krox as Eraldryn slipped past him to sack Stip in the backfield. The ball was fumbled and the Lizardmen could not regain it as the buzzard ended to mark the end of regulation.
