“Easily the longest game I've ever played...due principally to the fact my internet connection cut out (company itself was having problems), weren't able to reconnect to continue til 12 hours later. At this point is when my luck went kaput. I was holding out well, getting casualties on the rats and keeping the score tied until the break. After we resumed, nearly all my blocks were pushbacks instead of knockdowns, nearly all his were pows. Oh, except for the one double-skull I scored. :-S I also became adept at dropping the ball on kickoffs, and then in one quick flurry the rats ko'd 3 and bh'd a 4th in one turn. Cleared the pitch right quick, it did! Oh, and the 2nd half opening kickoff landed in the very far corner inside my end-zone, opposite side from where my players were gathering to head downfield. My luck was 39% by the end of it all, and that's counting a good streak in the first half--that shows how bad the 2nd half was. Still, nothing permanent for my team, my passer now has sure hands for the future, and we're welcoming the team's first catcher, so we'll call it good and press.”
