“This match, perhaps not unexpectedly, turned into a bit of a slugfest. Stodowa was lucky with the AV rolls early on, and killed a Rotter and put a lot of Beastmen in the KO-box. I received first half, but for awhile things looked so grim on the pitch that I started to doubt I'd be able to score. I made a break for it with a few Beastmen though, and eventually made it through, not without a bit of luck.
During second half, fortune turned somewhat. I landed a few BH and eventually got rid of Scottish Tragedy's Ogre, after he'd been saved once by the apotechary already. With this I could keep on hitting, and when Stodowa's numbers decreased, I eventually managed to score myself.
The Scots then retaliated through a nice (if rather lucky) touchdown, and that was basically that.
It could be added that my Beast got killed by a fouling Norseman pretty early on, but that time regenerate did its job. I got "get the ref" on the next drive and had some retaliation in mind, but as it was I think I only did one foul. It's not really my style, after all. As for the Beast, it turned out it avoided death only to age and niggle on the skill roll. With one Rotter missing and an unreliable Beast, it remains to be seen where to take this team next. Thanks for the game, Stodowa.”
