Night Creatures won the coin toss but chose to kick. Legends tried to power through the Underworld team but poor play on their part should have cost them the ball. It was said that Legends didn't take this team seriously and they played like arrogant High Elves. Just their overwhelming strength enabled them to get a player advantage otherwise this would have been a completely different game. Nagash managed to badly hurt a Goblin as he casually lounged at the goal line. The Dark Elf ran backwards and handed the ball off to Emeyin who ran in the touchdown to end the first half.

NC received in the second half but Legends charged into their front lines. An abnormal amount of Guard specialists on the Dark Elf team allowed them to easily overwhelm the mostly Goblin lines. NC's offense fell apart and they attempted to go for the end zone three times. Two out of three had a good chance of tying the game. The last attempt would have ended the game on a tie but the Skaven Thrower dropped a crucial hand off. If he had caught it, he would have been off to the races and no LF player would have been able to do anything about it.

Lucretia came to pick up the ball and try to hold on to it with time ticking off the clock. A Goblin knocked her down and a Skaven Thrower went to pick up the ball. He ran and tried to hand it off to a Goblin at midfield but a couple Dark Elves swiped the ball away and it bounced off the foot of the Troll and into Damian's hands. Damian would hand the ball off to Cyric and the Lineman would throw it to Lazarus for a touchdown just as the game ended.
