Milldudes won the coin toss and chose to receive. Legends rushed the Nurgle team in the backfield corralling them to the right side of the field. The Rotter ballcarrier was not in a safe spot as their Beast, Vincent Clearshield, kept going stupid. A constant attack by the Druchii had forced a fumble of the ball but it lay between two Nurgle Warriors. D'Angelo made a big play snatching it from between the two players and dodging away. Although he was taken down a turn later this was the defining moment of the match. Milldudes made a big play of their own dodging through two tackle zones and dropping the ballcarrier. It was too little too late however, and Linken made a quick pass to Lucretia for the score right before the break.

Legends received in the second half but they were down to nine players. They spread the field on the Nurgles and had them scrambling to stop all options. The Dark Elves found a weakness and Lazarus was handed the ball. Lazarus would rush up the right side of the field and would remain untouched. He would in turn hand the ball off to Bane for their team's second touchdown.

Milldudes received once more but there was not much time left on the clock. Legends had too much pride to let the Nurgle score and they went all in. This stopped the Nurgle's from scoring but at a high price. Lazarus was seriously injured (-ST) by a foul from a filthy Rotter. It was a bitter sweet victory for Legends.
