“The Miners final game of the season was a title match against Beasts of Bembridge. With both sides already promoted, it was all down to who would life the cup.
The Rotters attacked first, but were quickly losing players. There was however an opening down the flanks, so they looked to take advantage of it, but when the throw was missed and landed near the Dwarves the ROtters were in trouble. After a melee it was the Dwarvces who came away with the ball running it in just as the first half ended for 1-0.
The second half started much as the first had ended, with Dwarves removing Rotters from the pitch. The Rotters tried their best to slow the Dwarves but it just ended in sacrifice as Knife teeth died on a failed block. Finally with few Rotters left, the Miners ran the ball in for 2-0 and the Title.
Thanks for the game Janek, best of luck in the Cup.”
