“Legends won the coin toss and chose to receive. They tried to bash We Don't Sow for awhile but things began to go sour in a hurry when Lazarus was almost killed. The Dark Elves went into plan B and for the score. They rushed up the left side of the field but they were pursued by the Undead forces. Midway through the first half they had to go for the score.
WDS received with plenty of time to answer. They formed up a cage and began to bash the Dark Elves. The Undead didn't seem to be affected by the blocking and doging skills of their opponents, knocking them to the ground with ease. Damian failed a dodge (snake eyes) and it left the field open for the Ghoul to run in a touchdown to tie the game.
WDS received in the second half and they applied the same strategy. This time however, Emeyin was able to bid his time and take down the Ghoul ballcarrier deep in Dark Elf territory. It was too little too late as another Ghoul recovered the fumble and ran in the touchdown to put its team up by one.
Two turns left in the game and only six Legends left on the field against a full compliment of Undead. They rushed up both sides of the field. Undead players closed in on them. The Wishmaster gave his team a chance to tie the game when his brilliant plan was almost executed in the waning seconds of the match. Unfortunately, a long pass to Malikith was fumbled and WDS escape with the win.
