“In their first game of the season the Stone Hewn Monkeys ran out easy winners. Using a combination of hard tackles and the odd boot to the groin the Mother Superiors barely had time to think as they were crushed under the avalanche of Dwarven steel-toe-capped boots. The Mother Superior team never even managed to cross the halfway line with the ball.

One Touch down in each half sealed the win but it was the casualty report that told the story of this game. The fragile Elf team had to finish the game with only 5 players on the pitch, 2 were badly hurt, 2 had suffered injuries and 2 were out cold on the floor.

After the game Coach Simian had this to say “Some people may call us a cheat team, I prefer to think of us as making up for our lack of speed and agility with a solid boot to the back of the neck. And at least we’re not bloody Khemri…"”
