“Fight Gone Bad won the coin toss and chose to receive. They began to power through to the right side of the field. Middenheim Runners tried to stop them and halted the Norse advance deep into their territory. FGB reversed their ballcarrier and trapped the Middenheim defenders with their offensive line. Konan was handed the ball and he ran in the touchdown to end the first half.

MR received in the second half and the ball was kicked next to the sidelines. A Human Thrower failed to pick it up and FGB tried to capitalize on the situation. Both teams swarmed the ball but Tarrant was knocked on top of it and it flew out of bounds. The fans would throw it to the other side of the field where both teams fought for it. It looked like FGB was going to come away with the win when misfortune struck the Humans but bad luck was not discriminate. Just when MR's turn ended suddenly the Norse team's turn ended just as suddenly. That was all the Humans needed and they picked the ball up and threw it to their Catcher who ran all the way in to the end zone for the tie.
