We receive first and the match starts as a fairly dirty affair with their piling on mummies and mass of DPs deployed to great affect. By T4 our rookie wolf has been niggled (regen fail) while we have largely failed to hurt them.
We have the ball fully in our control however and are busy stalling down the clock when their ghoul makes a few dodges and 1d pushes our ghoul into the endzone.. 1-0!
But the ref is signaling for illegal procedure.. he doesn't like it and he's docked the undead team a turn on the clock! That was unusual but it means after the kickoff they suddenly run out of time and won't be able to score. T7 and we KILL a zombie (no regen) and then on T8 use our bonus turn to great effect. We MNG their DP/sneaky git skelly and then surround their prone mummy for a group hug... KILLING him!! (both regens fail)
3/3 of their KOs wake up so they have 11 vs our 11 as we kick off for the 2nd half. Our blodge MB wolf BHs a zombie but then gets POWED by their mummy who piles on to BH him back (both regens fail again). They run the ball towards the half way line and put in a nice double push on our tackle ghoul to toss them into the crowd. We counter with some more nasty cas dice removing a few more of their players and stealing the ball. They try to recover but even their AGI5 is cursed with 1s on dodges and GFIs and we make it 2-0.
There's a couple of turns left but all that really happens is they skillup a skellie with a completion while we put in some more cas including the 2nd mummy..
