“We receive 1st and put in a KO each with our PO MB zerker and our DP, though they counter with a KO on our troll and a BH on a guard lino from their mino. He's on fire as his 2nd block MNGs our DP. Ouch!

We've now burnt all our rerolls on poor blocking dice and things look difficult. However we do manage to push through to score on T6 after BH'ing a beastie.

They have a few turns til half time and we should have kept them from scoring but we poorly position our assist to blitz over their only possible receiver on T8. We knock him down but can't injure him and he dodges through to the endzone to catch the pass.. 1-1!

And to make things worse 3 of our players vs their mino are tired from the heat so we kick off with 7 vs 8. They push through with the ball, getting the upper hand for the most part until T4 when they run their rookie CW alone deep into our corner... but with some nice dauntless blocks we can just about 2d blitz him over!

However we are just 6 players and they quickly swarm over and it looks like we have no hope. On T7 their CW just needs a GFI into the endzone to win it... but trips over! We get two players over the ball, but they can make the 4+ pickup and 3+ dodge to make it 2-1... booooo!
