What seemed like a total walkover against an 8RR, several niggle team and a single superstar with MB/PO/Claws turned out to be RN's bloodiest game yet. 15 Casualties were inflicted, and at least 6 players retired/dead from each side.
Ascor, the star CW of LdA cause an impressive 6 casualties with 12 blocks while rerolling even knockouts in favour of CAS. This was only contained on the last turns of the 2nd half, when Ascor was surrounded by rotters and subsequently Guard/Tentacles locked.
The Nurgle team held on to the game mostly due to Regeneration, and the 14man roster. On the 2nd half most of the on-pitch players had all CASd & regened at least once. The unlucky part was, that none of the KILLS happened to regen (one was on a decay-rotter, though). Tight Refereeing also saw Kurdi banned for fouling early in the game meaning Ascor was pretty much safe in the ground after a pile-on, because no guard-lock could be issued with a near-guardless Nurgle team.
