The Miners were up against Taking the Biscuit, who had brought help in the form of Silibili.
The Dwarves attacked first, removing Lizards from the field as they went, with the game descending into a Melee. With the play near the Lizards end zone, the Dwarves decided to dodge the ball to a safer place, whilst stalling, sadly Nuffle stepped in with snakes and the ball was loose. The Dwarves tried to collect it, but that was ended with a GFI fail + BH, as the half ended 0-0.
The second half saw more of the same for the Dwarves, as skulls and failed Dauntless rolls became the order of the day. The Miners had their chances to get through to the ball carrier, but at every turn the chanced slipped away, with failed blocks and dodges.
With no permanent injuries though, the match was not a total disaster, and it is still early days in the league, so anything is possible, but the Miners will have to train hard if they want a real shot at promotion.
Thanks for the game Janek and best of luck for the rest of the season.”
