“With a natural one-turner, a 10 3 5 6 super-catcher, and some nice wardancers, I knew I had my work cut out for me. After losing my drive to a woody score, I thought I was going to be on the wrong end of a 5-0 game.

Then I started picking off the wood elves. Wardancer #1: BH. Wardancer #2: KO. MA 11 catcher: BH. Etc.

The wood elves opened the second half with the ball and quickly took it to just shy of my endzone. I knocked it away with a Tackle ogre and marked it next to the sideline. They blitzed down my SS gobbo who dove onto the ball, spilling it into the crowd, who threw it next to another ogre who was also rather too close to my end zone. Another elf almost got away with it, but tripped (he'd been on a long, TZ-filled journey already). I got in with an AG3 ogre and from there it was a race between the clock and ogre idiocy. A bad 1,1 bonehead left me short of range to score, so I tried (and failed) a pass. Fortunately T15 I got the pickup, and T16 had the reroll to re-try the bonehead I failed, and tied it 1-1 at the final buzzer.
