“A very entertaining game marred at the end by a desync bug
The chaos first half drive wa a standard slog up the pitch. The orcs managed to pop the ball free but the chaos team regained possession and scored in turn 8. The reply TTM was miss calculated so the half ended 1-0 to the chaos.
The orc drive went as planned and was helped when a block less chaos warrior selected both down on a 3d block to see the chaos turn end abruptly. The orcs pushed down the flank and ran the ball in with 4 turns remaining.
The chaos team drove down the left and pushed toward the goal line. This is when the bug occurred and spoilt the tense end to the game. A goblin , which on the chaos screen was stuck in a ruck and stunned suddenly telported inot the back field to put pressure on the lone chaos warrior reciever in range for the TD. He was assisted by an orc blitzer putting 2 TZ on the warrior. Come the chaos turn the warrior could not block or blitz the goblin as he was showing as stunned so instead had to hit the orc. The roll was a success but no dodge roll was required for the chaos player. As a result, a d6 was rolled in chat first failing the dodge then re rolling to success. The chaos warrior took his position in the ned zone but under gentlemens agreement the failed pass was not re rolled leaving the match to go to OT.
Several re loads later and a reasonable true position was achieved with the orcs getting a black orc instead of a lino back from the KO bin and the choas seeing a warrior remain in the KO bin who should have woken up. A gentlemans agreement was bartered and the match would continue with the chaos being allowed to use the re roll they had agreed to forfit earlier.
The dice swung towards the orcs and 2 pchaos players were KO'd off the bat. It was tough but the chaos held the orcs until the last turn when they scored. A 1TTD attempt was made but failed after rolling just 1 push on 3 3d blocks.
I feel a bit aggreived as I was looking good to reach my first scheduled smack final :(
