By half time he was still at 20% luck, no chance at all that half, 1-0.

Second half was a tiny hint better but not much. Started driving down one flank but my ST4 guys got in the way pinning him to the flank temporarily. Gang-DP action took out his Dragon Warrior (apo fail :/) while his return blitz killed a lino (apo worked! Fewf). The ensuing foul-exchange saw him lose a catcher to the KO box while another followed courtesy of my MB Dragon Warrior. With the numbers heavily against him Ghidra tried to push up one flank but wasn't able to quite make the ball carrier secure - several dodges and GFI later I blitzed him down. My attempted punt was fumbled though, leaving him a small chance. Nabbing the ball back and lobbing it he just needed a 2+ catch to get the equaliser with only a few turns on the clock! Nuffle once again had other plans, spilling the ball and scattering it my way. A turn later and it was safely in a cage in the hands of a ST4 elf. Game over, just time to run it up the park.

Hard luck - you put great pressure on me despite the terrible dice, kept my cage closed down tight for a couple of turns on my offense then showed good movement in the face of higher strength to all but make the TD. Must have been frustrating but you kept your humour really well. Thanks for the game and I look forward to the rematch, maybe nuffle will have stopped punishing you by then!”
