The 2-0 scoreline hides nothing, skulls for the norse revenge to open, before attempting a risky pass left them wide open to the ball being stolen, which the gutter runners duely achieved, though at the cost of using the apothecary on an niggling injury.

The cliffs proceeded to grind down the turns, quite happy with the idea of 6 players engaging a nearly full team while 5 others caged the ball by the endzone, before scoring in T8

This left the score at 1-0 with the cliffs to drive next, they proceeded to successfully bait and switch the direction of the drive, leaving the norse wildly out of position, granting an easy score in T4.

The norse revenge looked to advance up the field for the consolation TD, but mishandling the ball left them with little to do but watch the gutter runners steal it again, though there was an easy 2db on the ball carrier, and in hindsight, if the TD had been needed to decide the game, the better option was a punt upfield, where it could well have been out of reach of the norse for a turn, instead Quickblink The Smart went for glory, holding on to the ball, and simply getting himself stunned for the pleasure.

Things devolved into a scrap to get the ball away, and, eventually, the gutter runners skills came through, as they ran away with the ball.
They didn't run far enough though, as the last man in the norse defence got back and with a straight Pow, left the only rat or man in scoring range stunned on the pitch...

2-0 was a fair result, though if either coach had been paying more attention, it could gone either way from there...
