First half I started recieving. A PD and the ball landing on the line later and I was in trouble! First half saw me struggle to get anywhere, take 5 KOs and two CAS for nothing in return, though to be fair my play was rather woeful. Gordreg walked it in fore a deserved t8 touchdown.

Second half and I was back up to 8 vs his 11 but two more cas on t1 saw me down to 6. A swift boot by me saw my DP off and his DP into the CAS box - a bit of team protection at least! My 5 elves spend the rest of the half running away while his zombie tries to make a completion for a skill-up over and over and over... eventually this gives me a sniff of the ball but not enough of a chance and the Necros recover. With the ball way out of reach I'm reduced to blitzing the ghoul or wolf each turn, with no effect! T16 sees Gordreg go 2-0 up. The following kickoff sees my elves suddenly remember how to play - LOS blocks causing a BH and an SI while the kickoff table KO'd a Golem. Coulda used those rolls earlier! :p

Ah well, one of those games - solidly played by Gordreg and a deserved win. Can anyone knock him from the top of the table? I tried to facilitate this by going for his non-regen guys but TOTALLY failed. Enough cash to get a second wolf sees Deads Army looking in great shape. Good luck! I'll have my revenge...”
