“Note, luck reading out due to my opponent using up his two hour limit on his ISP on the second last turn of the game!!! Luck was 54-60 in his favour at the time heh.
--------
The Skarr Boyz were apprehensive when their only two players nursing niggling injuries pulled up sore before the match (damn snake-eyes!!!) whilst the Company turned up with all players fit and read (passed 3 rolls).
The Company started with the ball and kept it in the backfield whilst the Boyz applied the pressure on the line of scrimmage and on any players that penetrated into their backfield.
The Boyz looked to be getting the upper hand for a while and eventually they managed to attack the ball carrier and free the ball in the middle of their backfield.
However, their Thrower Zogdrok Wuntoof failed a dodge to pick up the ball (3+ with reroll) and the Company recovered the ball and scored about two thirds of the way into the opening period.
The Boyz responded with a hurry up offence to score quickly (2 turns) to tie up the scores at half time.
In the second half, the Boyz played a classic grind cage game as they advanced the ball upfield and pounding as many Company players as possible. This worked well as player after player went into the KO bin and the Boyz were able to score easily late in the second period to seal the match.
-----------
Probably a boring game for my opponent and my lucky KO rolls didn't help his enjoyment!”
