“This was a hardfought game that I just barely won. Violet Violence played excellent defense, though I was forcing them to make a lot of dodges with my cage. Coach grampyseer said before the match that he hadn't played in a while, but I couldn't tell. His positioning was excellent and he refused to be drawn into a blocking scrum by moving his players away from bad situations and setting up 2 die blocks to keep pressure on my dwarves. Both TDs were scored as a result of a double skill blitz, once on the ball-carrier, the other to punch a hole in my defenses to get to the ball-carrier. The Dark Elves TD was a fine display of AG 4 and 5, catching me out of position when I was absolutely certain I had the Witch Elf dead to rights. Rashaan needs some blocking practice as he had 2 3-die blocks this game, rerolled both of them, and couldn't get a single POW! That was 12 dice thrown on 2 blocks and nothing better than a Push. The trainers are going to work him on the blocking dummies until he pukes.
