“SOUPA week 4 concluded with a match with a lot of rotting corpses in the stands. The Kleen up Krew was dreading the imminent return of Hack Enslash, but to their surprise, Fallen, He Rose hired J Earlice. The relief was quickly removed when this superstar showed everyone what he could do, zipping through the line, scooping up what would have been an errant pass with a magnificent diving grab, then dodging his way towards Dwight D. Eisenhower for the hand off and the TD, starting them off to a 1-0 lead!
That's where the wheels came off... After a few attempts on both sides to fool around with inept blocking, Snuggle softly picked up the ball and dashed over to Troy Lett-Duhk who walked into the endzone squeaky clean to tie it up at the half.
The second half saw Janet Orr planning to sweep up a little, she took the kick off and was in the endzone in a flash to put the Krew up 2-1. Fallen, He Rose tried to work a run up the gut, but Eddie Rickenbacker tumbled over while trying to dodge into an open lane, letting Vin Dex streak into the endzone untouched to put up the insurance marker.
All said, great game by an opponent who made the best of having basically 1/4 of decent luck. Best of luck in the league, and might see you around playoff time!”
