“Parla won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their Dark Elf Renegade, Elfy, picked up the ball and ran behind his front lines. Legends Forgotten played a risky game putting a lot of pressure on the Pact offensive front. Three Dark Elves were badly hurt as a result but the defense held keeping the Pact ballcarrier at bay. Time began to swing to the Legends favor and soon Elfy had to make something happen. He found a teammate open for a quick pass and the Marauder broke away from the pack heading towards the end zone. Malikith caught him and brought him down causing a fumble. Nagash dodged away, picked up the ball and threw a short pass to Draeke. Draeke and Emeyin sped up the left side of the field with a Minotaur, Zeze, hot on their heels. Zeze failed to take down Draeke and the Blitzer dodged past to hand the ball off to his brother. Uncharacteristically, the Dark Elf Team Captain, fumbled the hand off ending the first half scoreless.

Legends received in the second half and they were down to ten players in the pouring rain. Emeyin sought redemption and badly hurt a Marauder on the opening block. Lucretia brought down Trolly in the midst of her team and D'Angelo applied the "Choke of Doom." Trolly would get seriously injured (MNG) but regenerated while he lay on the bench. In just a matter of seconds, Legends, now had the numbers advantage.

Aramand picked up the ball in the backfield and waited for his team to get open. Elfy and a couple Marauders charged into Dark Elf territory to put pressure on the Legends Quarterback. Armand escaped and found Emeyin open for a short pass. Proving to everyone that the first half's fumble was a fluke the "Essence of Excellence" caught the ball and ran towards the end zone. He handed the ball off to Cyric to win the game just as time ran out in regulation.
