“Friday Night Lights won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their sure handed player grabbed the ball and ran up the left side of the field. Legends Forgotten chose to attack the Norsemen trying to infilitrate their side of the field sending a Berserker and a few others off the pitch. Emeyin badly hurt an opponent and Lucretia not to be outdone, seriously injured another in back to back blocks. Norse ballcarrier, Don Billingsley, ran the ball with his Snow Troll, Ivory Christian, in tow for protection. Ivory tried to open up a hole but failed to take down Malikith. The Witch Lord took advantage of the inadvertent opening Ivory had made and sacked Don close to midfield. Three Dark Elves rushed to surround the ball but one was pushed away. Don picked up the ball in two tackle zones and threw a short pass to Matt Saracen for a touchdown.

Still, there was two turns left in the first half and that was more than enough time for the Legends to reply. Lazarus ran up the right side of the field to get open for a pass. FNL tried their best to cover the Dark Elven receivers but it was a losing effort. Armand threw a short pass to a Lineman who handed the ball off to Lazarus for a touchdown to tie the game going into the break.

Both teams suffered from the sweltering heat but the wintry Norsemen were hit harder. They could only field eight but the Dark Elves who were also from a land of cold could only field nine. Legends started off where they left off in the first half and punished the Norsemen while Armand sat in the backfield with the ball. Soon only three FNL players were left on the field and Armand made his move. He threw a short pass to Linken and the lineman would eventually throw a quick pass to Lazarus. The Dark Elf Blitzer would run in his second touchdown of the game to bring home the victory.
