The final game of the WIL Season saw Barak Miners face off against White Isle Retail, knowing that a win would be enough to take them into the Premier.

The Dwarves began the game, slowly bringing the ball forward, helped by one or two of the Orcs leaving the pitch injured or KO'd. Unfortunately, just in sight of the goal lone, the Orcs Wizard popped up and downed 3 dwarves, including the AG4 ball carrier. The Orcs were then able to collect and punt the ball, leaving the first half to close out scoreless.

The second half saw the Orcs make their own attempt at scoring, but after an early melee the Dwarves spotted an opening and Zara charged through to down the ball carrier. A few more turns of frantic battle took place as first the strip ball blitzer grabbed the ball, then a lineman downed the blodge runner, but eventually the dwarves recovered to score for 1-0 and promotion.

Thanks for the game Cyrus and best of luck for next season.
