“The Necros came into this match feeling a little intimidated by their Dwarven opponents and it showed on the pitch.
After receiving the kickoff and trying to form a cage over the first couple of turns, Coach 859 had a braindead moment and forgot his new flesh golem, The Monstrosity, did not yet have block. He took a both down block die and promptly ended his turn with his team in a bad position.
The Dwarves took quick advantage of the situation and soon had the ball and were stalling until the they scored at the end of the 1st half. The Necro's did manage to punish the stall by fouling a dwarf and sending him off for the game.
The second half the Dwarves recieved the kickoff and muscled their way down the pitch. Although there were a couple of turns when most of the dwarves were on their backs, the necros just couldn't get to the ball carrier until late in the second half a flesh golem dodged out with a blitz and knocked the ball lose preventing a second score.
In the end, the toughness and teamwork of the dwarves (many of which had guard) just proved to much to handle for the necros, and the dwarves earned a decisive win.
Coach 859 summed up the match with this simple yet profound statement:
