“The match was played in the pouring rain from T1 to T16 without even a bit of sun. This, combined with a number of injuries early in the first half really put the Barks off their game.
Their bad luck was capped off with a failed GFI with re-roll into the end zone early in the second half. The Ladies recovered the ball and jogged upfield more or less un-opposed due to the large number of casualties sustained by the Barks.
The Ladies walked in a T16 touchdown to seal a 1-0 victory. However the win was bittersweet as the Ladies had to retire their first "do" as Short n' Spiked has gone on to the big styling parlor in the sky.
In her memory the Ladies called up a new stylist, Silver Cougar, and a new "do" Up Do, to take the #12 jersey.”
