“Even in the pouring rain 57,000 fans turned up and were screaming for blood, and boy did they get it. Both teams went into this match looking for the win and with the All stars recieving and both Elendawan Abendaand and Brett Engerland shaking off their niggling injuries they were looking to score. This wasnt quite to be and the half ended at 0-0 but it had been a brutal half full of casualties, KO's and fouls.
With both teams reduced to 8 men the second half started with the All stars kicking and with their perfect defence they hoped to weather the hail of blocks and launch a quick counter attack. They achieved this and broke through bearing down on a scared looking goblin who ran over to the nearest standing orc and tried handing him the ball but the orc wasnt expecting this and dropped it. The All Stars pounced on the oppportunity bashing the orc out the way and snatching the ball from under the goblins nose to safety. The goblin tried to give chase and one of Bobs Army tried to move to help him take down the ball carrier but was tripped by the player defending him. Hedric Griffin, ball still in hand turned to the goblin chasing him and landed him with a blow that he will feel in matches to come. With Bobs Army short on players the All Stars started to get nasty beating down players and then fouling the ones that werent injured. This lead to 2 of the All Stars being sent off and just before the final whistle blew Hedric Griffin waltzed over the line for a touchdown, causing cheers to go up around the stadium from the All Stars supporters. This was a good win for the All Stars and lets hope that this can continue into a winning streak that will attract more players to get the roster back into shape”
