“The first game on the WIBBL season in Division 1 was against an old rival Beasts of Bembridge.

The Dwarves received first against the short handed Rotters (who had a player niggle out pre-game) and slowly marched down the field, quickly removing players with every turn, eventually scoring for 1-0 at the end of the half. The few remaining Rotters did not intend the first half to pass without event however, as Lomhan Grimaxe was slain at the LoS (whilst the Apo was in the queue for a half time beer).

The second half saw the Rotters only able to line up 7 players and as the Dwarves pushed forward more were removed from the pitch, leaving little resistance as the Dwarves ran in a second touch down for 2-0, but not before the apothecary (who had finished his beer) was called into action to save another slain Dwarf!

A bloody match, but as always against Janek, another fun one.
