It turns out that with all the beastmen becoming rotters instead of pestigors, the rotter team needs a lot of work to become competitive. Rotters are a bit better than zombies (while they last), but it's not enough to compete with the likes of skaven when you need to move the ball. I'd have saved my winnings to buy my first pestigor, but my journeyman won MVP, and I bought 5spp for 40k, which seemed like a good deal.

Neat FFB note: my Beast of Nurgle skilled and rolled 4+6, and I took the +AV without hesitation. With no aging, I only have to worry about things on the field hurting it, and +AV ought to roughly double its lifespan.
