We receive first but a poor play on T2 coupled with double skulls sees our thrower alone and they steal the ball. T3 and we dodge blitz to knock it clear and then with a series of 4+ dodges run a linerat through to grab it. T4 and he's immediately knocked over and on T5 they stun half our team and recover the ball. They have also crowdpushed a thrower and BH'd two gobbos - looks like the half is over! T6 and they niggle our dodge linerat (apo fail) while they fill the KO box before scoring on T7.

We have a turn each but achieve little before the half time whistle. We have 10 vs their full 11 as we kick off 1-0 down, and they immediately score a KO. The kick is deep so we rush players between the LOS and the ball, managing to 2d blitz it free on T2, but we can't steal it and they quickly overrun the position. By T4 it's like the first half all over again as 90% of the team is blocked over each turn leaving us few players and no hope. We keep trying though and on T5 manage a multi-dodge double GFI blitz that sees their ball carrier MNG'd. Only problem is we only have 6 players vs their 10 so we simply cannot hold them back and they swarm through to recover without any hassle, making it 2-0 on T8.
