“We opt to kick as it's pouring rain and we have a few zombies to hand the ogres on the LOS. We focus on using our MB wolf for blitzes, BH'ing a snotling on T1 and their frenzy ogre on T2. Meanwhile they have a cage of snotlings advancing into our half and we haven't been blitzing it, merely marking it and the little titches just keep dodging past! On T6 they run right past our players to make it 1-0!!
We have three turns to try and equalise but the rain is holding us back too as we drop a handoff to a wolf on T7. We have however MNG'd an ogre with our MB wolf (despite apo). T8 and their break tackle ogre makes a max range dodge + blitz to KO our super wolf - the only player we could have scored with!
1-0 at half time and the wolf fails to wake up. Still, we have 11 vs 7 (just 2 ogres!) as we receive the kick - lets score as fast as possible. T1 and we BH a snotling while advancing into their half with the ball. We foul an ogre three times in a row, getting zombies sent off the first two times for stuns but managing a -AGI injury on the third. They throw snotlings in the way of the ball carrier which slows us down for a couple of turns though he finally makes it 1-1 on T5. Three turns left as we set up 10 vs 6 and kick off again.
They get the ball towards the centre, hoping for a TTM attempt but we have their ogres surrounded and they drop a handoff. A zombie catches it and with 2 GFIs he can handoff to our rookie wolf to make it 2-1 on T7.
They only have 2 ogres so surely the TTM is impossible... but no! Without RRs, in the rain, and with a zombie TZ on their throwing ogre they make every roll perfectly and make it 2-2!!
We receive the kickoff again after a timely riot which gives us a bonus turn... but unfortunately the rain hampers us and despite 2 RRs used in the final turns we just can't link up for a TD.
