“My hobgoblins couldn't foul, but boy they could hurt dwarves. They'd just stand there using their heads to block the dwarven fists. Fortunately for me, hobgob heads were stronger than dwarven hands. Oh, and the last block of the game (the 2 die one by his blitzer) was against... you guessed it, a hobgoblin. Clearing that hob would have allowed him to man-mark my bull and almost certainly prevented the score as I was out of rerolls.
Good game, Xeterog. The dice were not with you today. Hope you have better luck against your next opponent, unless it's me :)
Edit: Black Jack deserves a special mention here. 2 TDs and 42 rushing yards. Got a +MA on the skill roll and took it. I think this bull's progression path is becoming clearer.”
“Not only did I not play well, I rolled alot of skulls..at least 4 turns ended on skull rr skull on block vs a hobgoblin..and my last turn of the game ended on double skulls.
combine the two, and you get the blow out here :) (yes, in a CD vs Dwarf game, 2-0 is a blow out)
surprisingly, no casualties...with the number of times I was knocked down, you'd expect a few more...
ah..and the only spp's I get are for a journeyman that I didn't hire (needed to get my 2nd runner back)...
