“It's always refreshing to see a coach take advantage of a weaker team just to get a few SPPs. I especially appreciate the pointless fouls by physically dominant teams. It renews my belief that some people are just plain <insert derogatory adjective here>.
Of course, the first foul is always "rationalized" by the "fouler". It IS curious that the subsequent fouls were ALL on players that had NO CHANCE of reaching the ballcarrier ( who was stalling by the way) even if they had been successful on 2 GFIs.
It's just sad that some coaches are so insecure in their abilities that they feel the need ot resort to needless tactics as a way to intentionally inflict unnecessary damage on weaker teams.
I am fortunate enough to have the intelligence to never play this coach again.”
“The fouls weren't pointless. I fouled him because if I didn't he would have stood up, left my tackle zone and got to my ball carrier. I see that as a smart play, not pointless. The point of the game is to #1 win. To do this you need to score more than your opponent. The less players an opponent has on the field, the easier it is to score. If you don't stand up on your turn cause you dont want to get blocked how else can I take out players. ”
