“After last game's unfortunate and burning defeat, I was expecting a win to lighten things up a bit, but to no avail. The Brigade is moody and sour, unable to take any pleasure in the defeat of SfigattiAndFriends. For every hill you must triple your speed, for every defeat you must take to the field a hundred times and emerge victorious, and still you will be at a loss in the end.

As for the match itself, it was a bit odd. SKROLGOR plays his wood elves like a chaos coach, going for blocks rather than passes, gang-fouls rather than sprinting to the endzone. It cost me a longbeard before I got rid of his dirty player, and in the end I realize to my amazement that I haven't landed a single casualty, but I am, somehow, up 0-2 against an elf team, my guarded runner sprinting for the endzone a third time when the game ended. Well, well.

Other than that, I also got the first pitch invasion in my favour during this match, rendering two elves knocked out and a third stunned. It's nice to know I'm actually capable of having my own fans taking to the pitch, but it does little to soothe the frustration from the previous match.

As far as I'm concerned, we were about equally lucky. SKROLGOR got annoyed at times when I took the ball from him and said he couldn't believe my luck, but then he also took a lot more chances than I did, with hardly a turn going by that didn't see him attempting a handful of dodges and gfi:s.
