“The third game of the WIBBL First division saw the Brook Miners face off against the Ogres of Caulkhead.

The Miners started the game, quickly breaking down one flank. Unfortunately the Ogres managed to break through to the ball carrier and, once he was down, the Goblin Yates sneaked in a stole the ball. He was then thrown down the pitch out of range of the stunned Dwarves. The Dwarves tried to recover, but everything they attempted failed, as the Ogre took the game to 0-1 at the half.

The second half saw the Ogres try to bring the ball forward under heavy pressure from the Dwarves. Eventually the ball was freed and the Dwarves came away with it, but they were still having problems with the Ogres and needed a dodge near the end of the half to score for 1-1, which was how the game ended.

Brook Miners must now win their next game if they are to have any chance of promotion, or it's another season in Division 1.
