“After 7 cas I guess I should be happy that the worst I ended up with was a niggled rookie (now retired as he already had an injury). I also know there's no sympathy for dwarves. But this had to be one of the least fun games I've had in a long time. I didn't have bad dice. Wasn't complaints or bad coaching. King Royale's a good solid coach and we have a record of swapping games back and forth (we're now 2/0/3 guess I'm due to win the next one). Was just plain old squish and more squish. Yes I did get 4 cas myself but that's really only due to me throwing 6 fouls which is about 4 more than normal (consequently we each threw 6 fouls in the game except my guys got ejected 3 times and his 0.)
Pretty much all this game did was encourage me to make a shiny new chaos team of my own so I too can join the whole claw/MB thing.
Some say the new claw isn't as good as the old claw but I disagree on the pure fact that a heck of a lot more players can get it now and many of them without dbls, thus making it's affectiveness much greater by sheer volume.
I don't mind getting beat...but this just felt like I wasn't even there except in the capacity of SPP farming for his team. Be one thing if I screwed up all over or something but looking back I really don't know what I could have done much differently.
Ah well. Gotta shake this one off and move on.
Congrats again to KR. Win was easily well earned but I can't help but hope a nastier team comes along and eats the Blackeyes for breakfast.”
