“The weather started out Very Sunny, so I thought I'd kick and let the sun mess up the Humans' passing game - just as well, as I got a Blitz on the kickoff, and put a catcher under the ball. The Humans failed to fell him, and with support, his way was cleared to the line.
Another Human offensive faltered and the Skyseers ran in a 2nd, but with a switch of play, the Boxers pulled one back, scrambling in a TD with the Elves overcommitted to the opposite flank.
Half Time: 2:1
The Humans were losing players at an alarming rate, and began the 2nd half outnumbered...the Elves packed away their Orcley shades as the sun slipped behind a cloud, and on their first offensive, scored again.
The humans attempted a desperate play down the left flank, a catcher running deep into the Elven half with the ball, but with 2 assists, was brought down with a steely block (and a reroll!) by a Blitzer. The loose ball was quickly despatched upfield, and it was 4-1 to the Elves.
A riot put the clock back, giving the Skyseers one last chance at a score, but when the ball went loose with a wild Human pass, the Thrower, Falas Hawkeye, fluffed the pickup under pressure from the Ogre, Skar.
