“I think if I ever need a poster child as to why I don't like base TV Blood Bowl nearly as much as when teams get going, this is it!

1-1 for the new Khemri at this TV over Woodies is a great result, obviously. But at halftime and 0-0, I was in a position to win it after the Woodie drive had fallen over on a 2+ fail with RR. Mr. Sidestep Wardancer had other plans. If any of the first 24 dice I'd had at him in the second half were a Pow, I'dve won the game at a canter as Woodies left in droves. As it was, the lack of a Pow, or the Tackle skill, left Mr. Wardancer the chance to Dodge / Leap into my cage turn after turn for 1D after 1D (at higher TV, some Guard would have helped a bundle) until it worked. And it worked eventually for a 1-0 I couldn't do much about.

1-1 came after 5 more dice still didn't result in a Pow, and left me silly high dice in T16 to hit to tie. Which I got away with.

Grrr - give me some skills, that game might not slip away! :D
