“Game 6 of the WIL season and the next challenge for the barak Miners were the Greene Jaguars.
The game started with the Dwarves attacking, but a perfect defence by the Humans left the Dwarves slightly out of position. Things went from bad to worse when the Miner's key runner snaked the pickup, which allowed the Humans in to score for 0-1. The next Dwarf attack was met with another Perfect Defence, but this time the Dwarves were able to break through to score for 1-1.
The second half saw all the Human KOs return allowing them to line up with 11 players, as they tried to seek gaps in the Dwarven line. Eventually, after the Humans good run of dice finally ran out the Dwarves had a chance to take the victory, but first a pass failed, then a hand off to Zara for the win also failed, despite a reroll.
In the end it was a draw which felt more like a loss and one we may at the end of the season mean the difference between the Miners staying in the Premier or being relegated.
Thanks for the game Mark, best of luck for the rest of the season.”
