“Well the Hammers are in for a fight..the Chaos cult comes storming out of the back alley obviously very pissed we just dispatched their Nurgle buddies with haste and much Nurgle blood on our green stained gauntlets.

They lay into the Hammers and send them back. The Hammers right off the bat are blown up by the foul Minatour as he smashes Morgan into the cobblestone street and steps on his hand as the beast roars its victory chant. The Hammers throw every last ounce of strength left in them from the two previous encounters with the Nurgle followers...They are throwing haymakers, find some of those horse shoes laying around, Swift Billy Ray takes the hot poker from the blacksmith and starts laying down some deft under handed hot fouls.

It is a stalemate as the Hammers get their second wind and fight back..It is toe to toe combat in the middle of the pitch and once again that Minatour blows up Willy and his claw pinches a nerve in his shoulder. And then immediatly after WIlly goes down Rex gets taken out, thrown back through the previous broken window in our first encounter. He smashes into the last table left standing and blows it up into a 1,000 shards, SNAP!!! his collar bone is smashed like a twig.

But the fight is not over yet..The Hammers are deftly moving around the combat trying to gain an advantage. The Hammers have 3 shots to close out the battle but with out any reroll insight from the Gods they can not get the upperhand...They Hammers are forced back and have to make an orderly withdrawl from the streets as they cannot seem to stem this tide of Chaos.

the Hammers sulk back to the citadel of Sigmar in Altdorf rubbing their wounds but know in their hearts that 2 followers of Nurgle were sent to the underworld and that they gave a good showing.

Hammers got their first taste of Blood Bowl and they are now inspired by the Gods to guide their missed blocks and blown dodges..They will be ready for their next meeting with the forces of Chaos...And they better be, the box is littered with the depraived,TV min/max, cut throat, no care for any skill other than the hurt type and just down right nasty Chaos teams that roam the wild.
