“game of frustrations.
1st half, I'm in control of the game, getting 3 (or was it 4..think I had a KO as well) off the pitch. Fumbled pass caught by Black orc. Ok, good, he's relatively protected, and has time to score, maybe I can do it. Nope..lots of dodges and 1db's later, The redeemers have a blitzer with the ball further in my back field than I can get to, even with GFI's--can't even put him in a TZ. 1-0 at half.
2nd half, I get a quick defensive TD (4 turns). then get the ball from him. with a blizter down field.
interception. But, he gets the ball to his goblin, who fails a GFI and drops the ball. I get to it and short pass is...intercepted.
So tie game that I thought I had a good chance of winning throughout.

They were bigger, they were uglier, they hit us in the head a lot.... but we got up and let them keep hitting us. Then nuffle smiled on slappy and the ball fell from the sky into his hands and we scored a touchdown for the first half.
Second half started out a little poorly and the dealerzz pushed past us after skullcrack tried his new face first blitzing technique. The dealerzz evened the score, and with only four turns left in the half, aaargh stepped up to the troll and straightened his helmet ready for the big toss. Sadly, is inability to catch the ball marked him as post game troll fodder. A few spectacular interceptions from each side and in the last turn aaargh tries to save himself from being eaten by catching the ball and making a short lived attempt for the endzone. Sadly he was unable to dodge past the dealerzz blitzer. In a heroic accident, Smacker Smackson who thought the game was over accidently intercepted the dealerz pass while heading off the field for a bloodwieser.
We did learn a few things though... Whacky has realised that when someone is trying to hit your friend, you should stop them (guard) and slappy was blessed by nuffle with new fierceness (mighty blow).
