“Tough game against a fun opponent. First half I was trying to force a fast score, since I didn't have much hope of preventing Wood Elves from reaching the end zone (without Nuffle's intervention of course). Castanova was patient and didn't score until his T6 when I put a ghoul on the ballcarrier and he had to reroll a block to push the ghoul away. This left me 3 turns to score when Nuffle intervened. Clearly Nuffle was confused, meaning to intervene the turn before, but nonetheless the kickoff result was a riot and I lost a turn. I got the ball to a ghoul and ran him out within scoring range, but Nature and Friends easily took him down and sent the ball out of bounds. Shub-Niggurath was able to complete a pass and we got some blocks and a foul in before halftime. Fouls in the 1st half were weak, but the ref was blind. 2nd half my goal was to score quickly and try to get a numbers advantage so I could attempt to steal the ball. I did get the nubmers advantage, starting with a RIP foul on poor Thin Skull (who stole the VP from his former team). But I couldn't get the ball for anything and barely managed to score on T8 after it changed hands once and bounced around the field a number of times. On Castanova's last turn he set up for a 1 turn TD but his first blitz with the thrower was a single die block, and Nuffle said, "I think not!". SKULL! Game over.
